If im reading it right.. you get two shurikens and you can get out the other six?

Maybe I should write the way this card plays out:

Shuriken
*this all assumes that you have 6 Shuriken in your deck, 1 Shuriken in your hand this turn and you have 24 :air in your quanta bank.
    Play 1st Shuriken into an empty weapon slot. Does 4 damage to the enemy. Turn endsEnemy's turn. Your turn. Draw card, it's a Shuriken.If you play it, the Shuriken that was already in your weapon slot "flies" as if it were affected by a Flying Weapon and the new Shuriken is put in your weapon slot. Then, as you have another Shuriken in your deck, it is automatically summoned to your hand.Already having played 2 and 1 in your hand you have another 3 in your deck.Step 3 is repeated 3 times until no more Shuriken remain in your deck and the last one remains as your weapon.5 Shuriken are on the field as 4|0 creatures and 1 Shuriken is in your weapon slot. When the field Shurikens attack, they all die like Sparks and the 1 remaining Shuriken remains in your weapon slot.
This deals a total of 28 damage over 2 turns, or 14 damage per turn, after which it will do a constant 4 damage per turn.

Compare: Shuriken which in 5 turns can do 40 damage for 24 :air and it can be destroyed or stolen.
Compare to: Morning Star which in 5 turns can do 35 damage for 5 :light and cannot be destroyed or stolen

Silent Shuriken

I love it so far. I like that you need two to get the combo going, which helps balance it. I think it should be 5 for unupgraded and either 6 upgraded or a lowered cost (3 :air). That would put it more on-par with other weapons with abilities. I love the idea  lot. It's simple (hard to spell out, but really easy to understand) and elegant, fits the theme of a shuriken really well (I imagine a ninja throwing one, then a barrage of them, in quick succession), and fits air's theme, as well.

I may be wrong about 5 damage unupgraded, but I feel like a fractal+spark would be a more effective way of dealing the damage, and you'd be able to deal up to 50 damage (assuming just a spark and a fractal in your hand, play the spark, fractal it, play 9 more). instead of 20+the 4 from the one in your slot. Upgraded, it's still only 25 damage + the 5 in your slot which still isn't as good as a fractal+spark or just playing a decent cost:damage ratio creature that doesn't die when played.

I'm glad you loved it finkel, and I can't help but wonder if we're biased.  :))

Um, I'll see what other people have to say about it, I thought it was a bit strong, but if more people say to raise its attack I guess it's back to pixlr for me.

And as a side note, are all new weapons that are put into the game automatically rare?

The weapon damage part can stay as I finally see where you got your reference from (fail on my part, I just like the simpler weapon cards).

Instead of the wordiness on the conditions, just use "Play as though this is a creature if a Shuriken is in your weapon slot and add another shuriken from your deck to your hand"  Saved you at least a sentence there.  You can skip the "flying weapon part" since it won't changes the game itself (unless it's enchant artifact, but that doesn't matter due to lack of activated ability).  You still haven't addressed my concern about retrieval ability, that's the major issue I'm having with this card.  You are effectively "thinning the deck" selectively at a ridiculously low cost of 4:air

Hourglass - 4:time, 2:time to draw one card - minimally cost 12:time to draw 4 cards over 4 turns, does not damage whatsoever
Shuriken- 4:air, can selectively draw up to 4 cards in one turn with cost of 24 (20 if you can the first one as a weapon you are going to use anyways), get a free 4|0 creature/free flying weapon, have the ability to convert 24 damage in one turn

Ah, that could indeed be a valid concern. With 6 upped precogs+sundials and mark of time, for example, you could theoretically design a complex combo much easier than you could otherwise. The thinning of the deck is indeed something I hadn't given much thought, and could present a problem. There's no easy way of solving that, and considering how much rainbows benefit from hourglasses and sundials, and rush decks from precogs, this could indeed be overpowered in that respect.

Solution? Increase play cost? I actually kind of wanted it to be used best in an  :air mono type of deck.

Instead of the shuriken going to your hand, it goes to the top of your deck, and shurikens have 3 health, lower attack, poisoned status, and immortality? The idea being that you can play one more each turn, but they die after 2-3 attacks, so you can keep the combo up for 2-3 turns before you run out of shurikens, and you still have to draw them, so it wouldn't thin the deck. Really complicated, but something like that might just work :D
