I'm giving ratcharmer the credit on this because of this post:

Personally I've always sort of felt like solar shield, skull shield and the old carapace should just be combined into "shield/buckler" and cost 1 or 2 "other"

I know some effects are restricted to certain elements, but I really feel like a weak shield wouldn't be unbalancing-just look at dagger and short sword. It's not like you can spam shields so an "other" cost wouldn't effect gameplay much, and it'd combine several cards into one, saving server load etc.

Why now?

-Fix the discrepancy between the TEXT in the table and card image (Add the word 'Shield' with the ':' before the statement to reflect your image)



...assuming Zanzarino's changes go through, this shield might be more or less expensive compared to other shields, just because it's no longer quanta specific. Granted, Solar/Skull Shield were 2->1, so I suppose the cost isn't a big deal anyway. ^^;

Shield | Tower Shield (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20547.0.html) now added In Development list and in trainer, possibly coming to game on version 1.27.
