I don't think everyone understands this card. With a single shield, you can use as many shield bashes as you can on that one shield until it is destroyed (the end of the turn after the first shield bash was played). So you can theoretically use 6 shield bashes with 1 shield.

How the coding may work: You know how phase shield has a "3" counter next to it? When shield bash is used, it can change the number of the counter to "1" if they current number in the counter is greater than 1 or nonexistent.

So I would sacrifice my shield for a maximum of 16 damage? I'm not sure that's favorable. Perhaps don't make it twice the damage, just make it a regular amount of damage, and your shield isn't destroyed.

The number of times you can use shield bash is the number of times you can use it within the two turns from the first shield bash to when the shield is destroyed.
So, 6 shield bashes in hand + 6 quanta of any time + upped hope = 96 damage in one turn.
Of course, you either need epic stalling, fast draws, or both.

zamboza, i think the general community would disagree with you
most ppl think it's OP the way you can do 96 damage with 1 shield and 6 random quanta.
I, of course, am still waiting for someone to make a deck to prove this.

The cost should go up though.... really needs to go up... The unupped should cost 2-3 maybe? Upped should cost 4 of any quanta. Not saying that the card would be, or would not be broken then but it would help balance it alot.

LongDono, make at least one deck is too good because of shield bash. I'm sure it will have either some weaknesses, vulnerability to rushes, or both.

If you can convince me that it's OP, I'd be happy to change it to 2 :gravity 4 :rainbow. I'll discuss it with ShadedKnight, because if he wants to change it now, I will.

Quanta Comparison: Hope Bash vs. Unstable Gas

Hope Bash:

Hope- 8 :light
Bash x6- 12 :gravity
Damage- 96

4.8 damage per quanta with two elements.

Unstable Gas:

Gas x5- 30 :air
Ignite x5- 5 :fire
Damage- 100

2.9 damage per quanta with two elements.
