What about repose (or rest)? It sounds like a spirit could repose. It is close to the death idea and it carries a stalling notion ...
Another idea would be stun. It also has to do with the brain and a delay ...

Prevaricate is a nice word with a pretty meaning, I like it but it doesn't quite fir here. You are free to use the word for your own card creation.

Currently I like Snoweb's "Repose" name the most. It seems to fit well with the card.

Then, Repose it is. The funny is when in English one writes "Rest in peace" on the graves, in French it is "Repose en paix". I very much like that!

Now that the vocabulary problem is solved what do you guys think of the card itself?

I like this card. It being aether makes it tougher to fractal too, which is a nice side effect.

Yes an its low cost makes it not very interesting to PU/TU (except maybe if you use SoR).
