im confused by what it means that after the eighth, cards are destroyed. is that in a single turn? or is that from the beginning of the match?
It means that your opponent draws cards until he has 8 cards in hand - the max - then, if you have a Mark of Fire, the cards he cannot draw since he already has the max number of cards are destroyed instead of played.
As of now, it's a bit UP, lower the cost or make it so that both players can draw.
Also, unshard it pl0x. It's not even a permanent, why does it have to be a shard?
This card originated from a discussion in chat with Napalm, Higurashi, 10 men and some other people which I'm sorry but I forgot about the new Fire Shard - which is supposed to make the opponent draw cards. Knowing that making your opponent draw is likely to be the most useless effect ever, I had this idea to make it combo well with Nightmare and creating a good card which is totally not OP. As resource destruction through direct discarding is terribly powerful, I made it this way so that the benefits are balanced by obvious negative effects. It's a deckout helper, but not that much, and combos well with quanta deprivation too. All in all a card that is mostly useless if not terrible in mono-fire, but works nice in many other decktypes, including fire deckers.
