I really liked this card ^^
I think it could be a Shield and the upgraded one with one extra damage and 1~2 more quatum to play.

As a shield this would be very underpowered. It should not stack just as nightfall does not.
And obviously it adds to previous synergy between darkness and death.

well empathy stacks and this is weaker than empathy, and if it doesn't stack then I suppose elite version should do more damage as you said

Physically what is a Shadow Orb and why does it commit feedback?
In general it would be more efficient to use another Creature on the table than have this permanent. Why would I use this card considering opponents do not care for Mastery wins?

If the effect is Cumulative, please add it to notes.

alright it is now cumulative, but just note that you could really easily make a single orb do 24 damage in one turn if you are lucky and opponent has a field full of say malignant cells. And then if you had more then one you could do lots of damage, it makes for a good combo decks ideas

as for why it creates feedbacks, umm its a magical orb, yeah thats it (I don't know orbs are always supposed to have magical effects)
