I like and dislike somethings about this card. The name I really like, especially having studied a bit of neurochemistry, though of course these neurotransmitters are a little more complicated than that, but you can't exactly integrate the neurotransmitter into the game exactly as it functions in life, lulz. I do also like the more defensive side of :life Life which this can clearly enhance, however I don't see the clear connection to the element of :life Life, but I think I'll have to explain myself a bit more.

The first version of this card was essentially a counterpart  to Adrenaline. Now, the way I see Adrenaline fitting in the element is that it's a card that can represent aspects of "fight or flight", a natural instinct of a vast majority of living beings. The way Adrenaline is incorporated, the opposite to it, chopping attack into a smaller number simply doesn't fit well with what :life Life embodies, creature abundance and health.

I also have a distaste for rounding and awkward fractions that can make certain numbers seem more fair than others, but I digress.

Despite the fact that this change may be a little overwhelming, it would be interesting to see a card that essentially makes a creature attack multiple times without changing the overall damage it would do, without shields.

Consider this mechanic:

Target creature's attack is now 2. It attacks a number of times which would, in total, reach its original attack.

e.g. Original attack was 13, the now, 2|2 creature attacks 7 times to reach 14, 1 point over its original attack.
A status, Adrenaline would replace this, leaving the attack at 2.

With this type of mechanic, it's not purely reducing attack, however its allowing shields (pst Thorn Carapace), to do a number in terms of blocking damage, and doing harm themselves.

tl;dr: Interesting card, confusing elemental link, icky fractions.

I definitely like this card.  Good way to give life some balanced creature control.  It's also got several ways to tweak it for balance, like deciding whether it rounds up or down.

Added Hyro's suggestion as well... please vote on which one you like more. Card B has no art right now, as I'm on a different computer, but, should it win, I'll use the same image for it.

Voted for Card B's mechanic, even though the wording is terribly long-winded and excessively confusing.

"Target creature attacks ATK/2 times per turn, but deals 2 damage for each." should suffice.

Let me get this straight.

A dragon is dealing you 10 damage.  You cast this on it and it deals 2 damage to you 5 times.

Depending on if you have a shield or not, this could take the damage down to 5 or 0.

It's a 2 card combo to negate 1/2 to all of one creatures damage.  As a one card combo it does almost squat.

I'm guessing this would be paired with emerald shield.  Emerald shield is nice that it's immortal.  But, after the first drawn Emerald Shield the rest are dead draws.  Meaning that you either only have one or two of them in your deck and draw them unreliably, or have 3-6 of them in your deck and suffer multiple dead draws.  Either way it's a painful card to be part of a combo.  Either you won't have it when you need it, or you'll have useless copies of it clogging up your draws.

All to negate only the damage (or half the damage) of one creature with Serotonin.

And of course if that creature has an ability it is free to keep using it.
