I can lower the contrast on the sponge part which will make it the same dull background color if you think that will look better...

My Antidote card is similar. A poison healer, but more direct. I actually wish both of them would win. Sea Sponge for those who prefer to use creatures and Antidote for the permanent users. Regardless, Elements needs a counter-poison.
