So what you are saying is:

- I should make this a permanent
- I should reduce both costs to 1  :earth

I didn't really understand what you meant with the cost reduction.

does it effect all creatures or just opponent's?
Perhaps it could be a permanent you play onto your opponent's side? Afterall, they have the sandstorm hitting them, not you (I guess)?

Correct.

Elemental Weapons and shields cost 3quanta less than their value because only one can be out at a time. It was in reference to the comparison to Fog shield.

Just the opponents.
My orginal intention was that the sandstorm gave all current (enemy) creatures a debuff, with diminishign effect. But it would make more sense if a sandstorm blinded creatures that entered the field at a later time aswell.

Just so you know: The artwork was released under a GFDL license. A requirement for using such a license, is to include the fact that it's distributed under that license. Something like "Artwork: GFDL licensed: [link]" would work. :)
So long and thanks for all the fish!

This Crucible card is identical in name and type - and very similar in function - to a card already in the Forge:
Sandstorm | Sandstorm (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8876.0.html)

The Forge version is ten months old.  I am unsure what to do in the event that this wins its Crucible poll; either the name of your card will need to be changed, or the Forge poll would list both your name and mine, to avoid ambiguity.  I will consult with my fellow Curators on this.
