May want to fix typo in card text:  "Whenver" --> "Whenever"

I like the card concept and theme within the Light element (though it has some similarities to Empathic Bond).  Throne + fractal + spark would be interesting

Yeah, I've been trying to break this in my head and so far the best I've come up with is "4 Cherubs, Fractal Ball Lightning (gain 9x4 and 9x12 life), Fractal Cherub and cast using the the previous Cherubs generated, play 8 Cherubs, then Fractal Ball Lightning again."

Oh, and Mitosis+Cherub+Catapult could get fun, too.

Hmm, Soul Warden for EtG.  Not a bad idea, although I feel like the unupped is UP.  1 life in EtG is not very valuable, especially in an element with lots of healing and when there is a cap on your HP.  It's also a bit redundant with Empathic Bond but less focused and less healing.  The upped creature is not easy to kill and 3 HP is more significant.  Personally, I think it would be unique and neater if it increased your Max HP by 1|2 instead of your Current HP.

Also, why not call it Throne Angel | Cherub Angel instead?

The quanta effect is more significant at the current ratio. Soul Warden would not be an apt comparison IMHO.

Yeah, I was just trying to figure out what the purpose of the life gain on the unupgraded card was.  It seems superfluous and I wanted it to be useful so I proposed the Max HP modification.  Although since it's been pointed out that the quanta effect is more significant, the value of this creature is very dependent on how early you play it, so I think a lower cost on the upgraded card would be better, rather than such a large increase in HP and life gain. In my mind its purposes are playing tug of war with each other.

Originally, the unupped was 2CC and only gave quanta, but I realized after toying with the idea that it wasn't wise to have a CC less than 3 (Supernova made it too easy to cast and gain fast quanta from).  So, to compensate for the extra CC, I added the life gain.

Unless both players have creature heavy decks, you are probably not going to see much more than 1 produced on average each round except when your deck is focused around creature spam.  I don't think 2 CC is too low, it's basically a RoL with variable, slightly higher potential, but without the bioluminescence passive that makes RoL useful.

Except when combined with FFQ, Pharaoh, Fractal, Mitosis, Hourglass, or Golden Nymph.  Oh, or Aflatoxin -- thats HUGE.  Also, keep in mind that it triggers off of all creatures -- yours and your opponents.

Yes but what are you going to do with insane amounts of after your deck is packed with a creature engine, the appropriate pendulums/pillars, and the Thrones/Cherubs?  I feel like it's just too slow right now and requires too many high cost pieces, but I guess that does set it apart from RoL.  Aflatoxin is the only thing that really stands out, the rest don't seem much more advantageous than RoL because of the costs involved.

Fractal or Mitosis a Golden or Light Dragon, obviously.  That even works right in with the original combo idea.

Fix'd typo, added +3HP to Throne and -1 cost to Cherub.   Applying for Crucible.
