I realize that this card is extremely similar to Soul Catcher, but I think Soul Catcher is really underpowered (a lot of people would probably agree) and therefore made card is a tad bit stronger and much more useful. Note that the card counts every instance of damage inflicted, NOT the amount of damage. A 5-damage Lightning Bolt triggers Sadist once, just as if a 3-damage Rain of Fire would. Cards such as Gravity Pull or Ice Bolt used on a high HP creature can trigger Sadist multiple times, obviously. Also note that killing the creature does NOT trigger Sadist. We think enjoyment of death (Necrophilia? <_<) is completely distinct from the enjoyment of pain. This also happens to be the main reason why this card is not in Element .   SERIES:

I like the way you made it, (generate upon damage) but does darkness need another generator after Devourer?

You'll notice that they deal separate amounts of 2 damage if you watch the animation.

However, that may just be the animation, and the coding may only damage the target once.

However, that may just be the animation, and the coding may only damage the target once.

Actually that's a very good point to look into. When you use bolt-like spell with higher damage than the target creature's HP, the creature instantly disappears and the bolt animations follow. This COULD mean that there is only one damage instance. I intended the card to treat each bolt as separate instance, though.
