First off - WELCOME to the Card Ideas & Art (or CIA ) board, davidy22!
In regards to your card concept... for the ability, does it automatically 'kill' itself when you click on it (basically, an activated ability), or is it triggered upon being played? If it's the former, you could probably make the card TEXT a little bit more elegant by having a '0' activation cost and free up some space. Aside from that part; while you certainly nailed the coding of it down (something that I love ), I'm wondering if this could be exploited with certain cards, but that's something that would be better analyzed by our more critical thinkers...
It would be an activated ability, to give the opponent a chance to kill it off before you spawn something horrible.
I probably could improve the card text a little, thanks for the suggestion. I was aiming for a card that would lead to new kinds of decks being produced. I picked light because it has so few cards below 4 quanta, forcing people running a sacrificial lamb to dilute their quanta pool with a second type. I chose less than or equal to 4 because it was lower than the summoning cost, and it would limit the cards that you could play. This could be tied into later updates that might boost weak cards or have lost cost cards with epic abilities. I also miss the cards from other games that let you pull cards from your deck.
Part of why I made this card was also because I dislike the current idea of "synergy" that goes around.
Explicit synergy like the one shown in the Pulveriser (gravity/earth) can only apply to gravity/earth or rainbow decks. It's a linear solution that adds little depth to deckbuilding, as it can only be utilised by someone running a deck with both of the required elements. With a card like voodoo doll on the other hand, you could exercise a number of different strategies on it. You could gravity pull it, rage potion it, pandemonium spam, or just throw fireballs at your own voodoo dolls. Because its ability isn't tied to two specific elements, the possibilities for what you can do with it are only limited by your imagination. This card follows in voodoo doll's footsteps.
