So maybe it shouldn't work with crusader, thus limiting its usefulness to Weapons and flying Weapons not to make it OP?

How would you make this card work mechanically so it has no synergy with Crusader? I can't think of a way to do so atm.

Have it adjust the current attack but not full attack of weapons and have Crusader only use the full attack.

Like Fahrenheit's Fiery skill? It seems that it should overwrite the weapon's current spell then...
Would it be possible for this spell to turn it Immaterial, an Immaterial spell for weapons that could transfer over to the field?

Like Fahrenheit's Fiery skill? Like Dive or Sky Blitz. Not like Fiery. If you hold your cursor over a card a box containing current and full stats will appear.
It seems that it should overwrite the weapon's current spell then... Sky Blitz does not so this does not need to either.
Would it be possible for this spell to turn it Immaterial, an Immaterial spell for weapons that could transfer over to the field? It is a bad idea to allow this to make all weapons immaterial. Immateriality is valuable and expensive.
I just checked Animate Weapon + Sky Blitz + Endow. Crusader only uses the Full Attack not the Current Attack. If Forge increased the Current Attack then Crusader would not endow the benefit.

This card would make a fine addition to fw decks, seems balanced enough.

I think I will follow OldTrees suggestion (which was the true mechanic in the first place)

this plus crystal shield = blocking 4 or 5 damage per. that in my  eyes is just way too OP. think how many strategies that just kills!
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Would just mean more stall decks, there is RoL/Hope that blocks way more already :P

This would be pretty OP in a darkness/earth duo, considering that'd be 12dmg/healing a weapon with a eclipse.

For blocking, I think this makes regular shields a bit better, and spell-reflecting shields extremely much better. OP.

That's why my intention not to make it work with such shields is clearly stated :P
