NAME: Great Rune Sword
ELEMENT: Other
COST: 4
TYPE: Permanent (Weapon)
ATK|HP: 7/7 When Flying.
ABILITY: Weapon:Deals 7 damage
1:Attach Elemental Rune
(The Rune attached is random
of the quanta in your pools.)
ART: Current art by Dramore  The old (and good) art Sacred @ http//gallery.biorust.com (http://gallery.biorust.com/showimage.php?i=3762)
IDEA: Dramore
NOTES: This card is part of the Elemental Runes set.It is made to take on and use some of the
Rune powers.
-Deal 5 or 7 damage
-X:Attach Elemental Rune- This should be noted that the upgraded verison gets an upgraded
Rune added to it when it's ability is used. Also the Rune used does not need to be in the
players deck. This ability chooses a random Rune based on what quanta you have in your quanta
pools. The larger any one Element's quanta the greater the chance to aquire that Elements Rune.
Note: If  Rune Sword or Great Rune Sword has an attached Rune and is made into a flying weapon
it does not lose the attached ability or rather it switches to the Creature's gained ability of said Rune.
Also it's element will become that of the attached rune in flying mode.

too powerful in a rainbow way too OP
Ok Frist off lets break it down. How many pillars/towers does anyone have in a rainbow deck?

Most I've seen listed in the FG guide is 36. So if someone has 36 in there deck and can get all of them out that maxes out the Rune Sword |Great Rune Sword at 17 damage I've seen Fahrenheits hit for more than that. This only counts the number of your pillars/towers you have in play. and if you have less that a 3 count the damage does not go up yo the next point of damage. Also unlike Fahrenheit. When the towers are destroyed the damage is lost for good.Where as Fahrenheit can rebuild it's damage because it's based on quanta, not permanents. So as far as it being over powered I ask you how?

I think the high damage + potential ability is quite strong.
The concept is great tho.

Suggestions!
1. The bonus that farenheit gets for Fire Quanta is its ability, if you erase or swap that then it only does the base damage. Same as Hammer/Gavel when lobotomised. This means you can't have both the rune ability and the damage buff at the same time. Suggest ripping the damage buff altogether and just having it do 5 damage and the upped 7.

2. The Rune ability is useless if it can only be used once and is totally random. I suggest that the generate rune ability is based off of a target, or is randomly selected from elements you have quanta of. This way you have to setup what you want to use but it is more beneficial because of it.

Sweet idea I like it. I also didn't think of the two abilities problem and I can see where that won't work due to codeing problems. So I'll change it as soon as I can.

-Could you try to provide a shot of you obtaining permission to use that art from the artist in question? Otherwise, you may be asked to change your art.

I just found the art in a search and it said it was a free art site so I didn't ask. Sorry for the problem. If it needs to be changed I will. Also I'll try and go back to the site and Post a question to use it. (You would not believe how hard it was to find a Sword image that didn't look just plain wrong or was only free to use a wallpaper.) It may not mean much but I never claim art that I don't do.(Any art I did might make poeple who saw it hurl tho. And that would be bad for tring to get a card idea thru the hurdles)

Couldn't get permission from the owner of the old art. I have replaced it with some art I did. I know it's bad but I'm still holding out hope that the artist who owns the old art will e-mail me soon and I can put to old art back up. But till then... Please don't hurl no matter how bad my art is.

...are you kidding? I -MUCH- prefer this new art compared to the old one to be honest. :D It's more fresh and fits the design better than the old sword art (which seems a little bit boring).

Wait I don't get it. Wouldn't it be OP if the upped card not only costs less, but increases damage as well?

Not when you pay 1500 point to get the uped card. Look at Short Sword/Long Sword. Is long Sword OP?

Nope, but because the item costs the same amount of quanta. This card not only costs less, but deals more damage as well.
