CURATOR COMMENT
-Remove the '@' symbol in the Element section of your table. That's not the icon for it. ^^;;;
-Please use the specific link to the card art rather than providing the general site link from where you got your image from; in other words, put this link into the card art box: http://www.sxc.hu/photo/989644

By 'cumulative', you mean this effect lasts for every creature that dies on your field, this permanent still works, right? I kind of like it, but its mechanic seems very... unusual to belong to the 'Other' school.

By cumulative i mean more Restorations you have, you get back quanta for each. e.g. your two ash eaters die, and you have 3 restoration, then you get back 6  :fire

only problem i see with this is what if you have a creature say like shortsword or gavel + flying weapon out.. and it dies... then what? it doesnt keep track of the random quantum that was paid for it.  so what would u get in return?

I think it should pay out random quanta the spread out thru the spectrum not all in one element.

well if its paying its cost how does it pick which one to randomly go to? *other* are the only ones that would cause problems.

but that doesn't reflect its cost.... if you paid 3 :time, 1 :entropy, 1 :fire for a 5 other weapon for example getting its cost back as random would almost never give you what you paid for it back. if u want it to just simply give random back i guess it works.

i dont  get your question... random means it picks randomly. e.g.  you have flying gavel.. gavel's cost is 2, so you get 2 random quanta if flying gavel is destroyed for each restoration you have.

random weapon's cost is 1 random quantum. not 1  :entropy or 1 :gravity. so you get back 1 random quantum.

yes its cost = 1... but it picks a random to begin with.. so it will pick 1 of 12 elements.. whichever it picks is its true cost  in my opinion.. so if i get the cost back it SHOULD be the same element used to pay for it..

i understand you, its about how you define "cost". imho cost of the card is indicated in the upper right corner of each card. that means long sword's cost is 1 random quantum.
