Interesting alternative to PU, but at the cost of the ability of the creature.

Well, this is essential a half priced Lobotomizing PU. Assuming Deja Vu is identical to the card, the ability itself will cost another :time, so if you take summoning sickness into account and play accordlingly, it's ALMOST a PU for 4 :time as it is currently, or a TU for 3 :time, half priced. Because of the nature of the card, I don't know that the Lobotomization of the target is actually that costly. And as such, I might suggest making the card itself cost 4 :time | 3 :time. I think it would be balanced better this way.

Good insight. I can see how it could easily become very powerful. But isn't it that way with every card? If you don't mind, I'd like a second opinion. ^^;

Mechanical differences between PU vs Remember:
1) PU is an instant spell, Remember has a 1 turn delay with the delay a chance of interruption. [PU is better]
2) PU allows both creatures to keep Activated or Innate (automatic active) abilities. Remember removes Activated or Innate (automatic active) abilities. [PU is slightly better]

Metagame consideration:
These two differences show PU to be a better card for ETG than Remember. This begs the question about whether the game would benefit from an additional card in the PU, Fractal, Mitosis set.

Balance:
PU is worth 8q (7 :aether+1card).
Remember is worth 8q -X (1 turn delay) -Y (Lobotomizing)
A Lobo spell (spells that lobotomize) is worth ~4q minimum. (the value of a theoretical Lobotomy Spell derived from Lobotomizer's skill)

I would estimate X+Y=2q.
Remember is thus worth 8q-2q=6q=5 :time+1card
Suggested cost: 5 :time+1card|3 :time+1card
