It's quite a cool link between life and death, but you're right the upgraded card is very OP. I quite like the idea actually, as it can link two elemental decks that aren't normally seen together. And because Death has things like Plague it works quite well.

For the upgraded you could just lower the cost

Oh, you mean make the upgrade a lower cost of the un-upgraded card?

On the other hand, for AoD, I'd rather increase the quanta per HP lost to 2...is that still too OP'd?
If so, should the quanta cost stay at 9?

Reaper l Soul Reaper  because the soul is the one extra life you get in the upped card

Now I have to go back to the Card Image Builder, rebuild these cards with Reaper | Soul Reaper Grim Reaper, find a worthy image to put on it, save it as a PNG, open up in an image editing program, add a life quanta from somewhere, save it, and put it up on tinypic, etc, etc...

And I didn't mean for my crappy shape art to be cute. I wasn't trying to, and I'm not looking for cute stuff as an image.

I noticed none of you guys complained about its skill...So I'll assume that it's not OP and I'll send it in for The Crucible  if no one stops me.

Now to go scour photobucket for a grim reaper..

I'm starting thinking the UNUPPED one is OP when used with immolations..

I agree with what you said- 2 immolated Amarggios and you've got 50 life quanta. With the upped version idea it's 100. That's far too much- the only thing stopping it being ridiculously high is that Life doesn't have a mass quanta card.

Maybe it could be Life quanta per *death*? Not necessarily 1 quanta, but just make it about each death rather than health
