yes, gravity pull would be useless. it would spawn a new just cast copy of itself.

it would howver give you some hard to kill time generation. otygh or scarab could eat it, immolation woul;d kill it, but if it got bolted or hit a fire shield it would come back. it would cast itself again on death from damage.

Minor Phoenix seems to fit the role of reusable immo well enough.
Fire Shield is better countered by Growth.
The Otyugh scenario sounds... meh. I guess it's useful in a sort of :gravity/:time "growth" deck of sorts, but there's always Scarabs and Pharaohs for repeated generation with technically the same result.

So it's like, a :time Gemfinder that doesn't work unless you have two of them out?  The rule break addition really feels forced.

I just thought of a good idea that may improve Ad infinitums survivability.

Its hp should have this, X+1.

X = total Ad infintums in play, that way you can still have a chance of having these safe and sound producing  :time quanta,
aaannnd, since there can be 12, it sounds even better and can sync with rage pot or acceleration, making it even more versatile mid-late game.  ;D
what do you think?

It only needs to be X, cuz it counts itself, but maybe for the upped... But Scarab does that already....

The real strength of this card is that it *can* produce far more quanta than any other combo so far. If you have 12 of these out, you are producing 6*12=72 :time quanta per turn.

The scale goes as follow:
1 -> 0
2 -> 2
3 -> 3
4 -> 8
5 -> 10
6 -> 18
7 -> 21
8 -> 32
9 -> 36
10 -> 50
11 -> 55
12 -> 72
...

That means that even with just 6 of these out you are litterally bathing in quanta.
It could be an awesome combo with Diss Field - neutralizing more than 70 points of damage per turn - but it prone to CC.
It could also be used in an aether / time fractal deck as quanta producer (get a fractal of these out, then fractal a dragon and enjoy).

Overall it seems like a different version of Ray of Light: not costless, produces more quanta and hasn't got Hope synergy. I don't think this is really needed in an element like :time.

I thought it was:
0>0
1>0
2>2
3>2
4>4
5>4
and so on...

It says Generates :time for every 2 Ad Infinitums, so does each one count twice?

I agree with ET. New methods of quantum generation create new strategies that can be used in decks. The "similar to RoL" argument technically also applies to Gnome Gemfinder and Damsefly.  Imitating the Scarab mechanic is much more redudant and I would avoid using that mechanic.

Thematically this card is meant to represent the approaching presence of inifinity. The more you try to think about time, the more infinite it seems. As time progresses foward, it's prescene of inifnity becomes stronger because there is no end to time.

I think its a very good card, I would drop the 12 in play, since fractal and mitosis open the numbers up and make it somewhere between a deja vu and shroedingers cat, so that it is recast when it dies unless its killed outside of damage, like by immolation or being eaten. Yes I said thaty before but a few comments makes think people thought I meant the opposite.

Good card and I think the infinity think is well represented not by having twice as many, but by having it not die very easily.
