I'd love more feedback here. Is everyone comfortable with the language Kuro proposed above? Should I change the mechanics as proposed in the last post?
It's not getting a lot of votes as is, so any suggestions for improvement are appreciated.
Since you haven't changed anything from the original card (including my suggested wording ^^; ), it's hard to give feedback on the same thing, even though there have been ideas already proposed. The major problem after looking at this card is that it's more situational than Discord, because Discord can ruin mono-duo types (converting quanta into things they can't use) as well as rainbow types (transformes their quanta to places they don't need at the moment in the beginning, especially when paired up with Black Hole).
If you're not going to change the wording, try it like this:
"Shield: Reduces damage by 1.
Randomly converts your
opponent's quanta into quanta
of their mark after each attack."
This, again, is still detrimental (because many decks rely on their mark for splashing quanta, rather than having it as a main focus), because you're still GIVING them quanta of the mark they need. Note the highlighted color above in my description - wouldn't it be fun if it actually converted whatever quanta they had into
instead? (Or even better, YOUR mark...?)
