E is the number of your non-empty quanta pool minus 1. Therefore it varies between 0 and 11. The minus one is here to prevent abuse with RoL/Hope. Each time fractal or Miracle is played the number of pool will become one and the Qæon will die. Pros : Force the duos with aether. Creates new interesting duos : / , / , / and / . Cons : Makes the / duo a bit to strong because of hope and luciferin. SERIES:

Oh yeah fractal pest need a buff i think..
Otherwise you realise that with one nova E=11 ? (okay useless i know)
Btw i think if this card exist in the game I won't play it in RoL Hope

This creature completely runs on energy. :shock

Although there has been many creatures with x = hp, y = attack in our forums, this one is very interesting and unique.

This is a type of creature that can't do anything on it's own but if given support of other cards can become really strong. I believe balancing this creature with card cost theory would be a real pain.

Yeah. Actually, i think that the attack mechanic is great. I just have an issue with RoL and Hope. I tried to solve it with this weird HP/quanta pool idea but I am not satisfied.

Here are my ideas:

E is the number of your non-empty quanta pool minus 1. (now on the card)E is fixed to 4 (for example idk) and the Qæon would have the following passive ability "Power failure: if your aether quanta pool runs out, Qæon dies". It means that the HP is either 4 or 0. Qæon would automatically die when you play fractal.E is 1 and the Qæon would have the following passive ability "Fusion: each additional Qæon played fuses and adds +1|+1 to this one". It means that you could have only one Qæon at the time (similarilly to Chimera in a sense).

What do you think?

He has no friends. He just fuse with the previous one that goes bigger. In this case you would have only 1 Qæon in game at the time. The advantage of this one is that it is less abusable with Rol/Hope. The maximal atk would be 22+5=27 which is less than 3 dragons or 4 archangel.

Luciferin would make this card really hell damn powerful, but i like it anyway. It makes Fractal kinda useless, since you could otherwise end up with something like 15|11 monster, but whatever.

the only thing that strikes me too powerful is in a rainbow or trio deck, this + alfatoxin + Luciferin.
easily over 30 attack, can be quinted or momentum'd (or both in the case of rainbow decks).
thats the only thing that concerns me. but otherwise its all good to me, nice idea.

Apologies, but malig cells have "infest" which is an active ability. You'd have to actually lobotomize all of them to use Luciferin. (If you want confirmation, look at Joebob's post in the Graviton Inferno thread).

Ash Eater unfortunately doesn't produce anything.

I remember the art from Rift Aeon, and just like with that card, I love the theme. Aether has a theme of ancient, overwhelming power from the stars and the universe, but lacks a card to symbolise it.

I like this card a lot. It strengthens so many strategies that are currently fun, but not optimal.
