During your end phase, when any permanent with an "adapt" icon on it is passed over, it will check whether or not your health is higher than your opponent's health. If it is, the permanent will be stolen to the other side. 4. If a permanent with an "adapt" icon is stolen (or destroyed), the "adapt" icon will disappear. Like gravity pull, it cannot pass over to the other side, i.e. by a spell/ability that copies permanents. SERIES:

So it's sort of like steal but not really. Uh...okay. The cheap cost and PC for life is much appreciated if you're doing a mono   rush.

And, if your health is higher, it's still a "ignore for one turn" against shields
Also, you can use it to send a permanent to your opponent at the end of your turn if your HP is higher.
