Reflective shield does not reflect damage from a doll, so it should not count as spell damage.
I suppose it depends on how you interpret the damage from a doll. Currently there is no way to prevent damage from a doll, period.
Thematically, this is because it supposed to emulate the idea that whatever is done to the doll is also magically done to the other player simultaneously.
The idea with the voodoo doll is that the opponent feels whatever is done to the doll as if it were themselves. But the vooodoo doll would lack the ability to react and defend itself as the player would with shields, etc.
So the reason a shield won't reflect the damage is because it never goes through the shield.
The doll has no such shield in front of it, or at least you could shoot where the shield won't stop it since the doll cant react.
BUT, the spell damage that gets done to the doll is also applied to the opponent.
Ergo, the opponent is taking spell damage because the doll is taking spell damage...
But thats how I've always heard it conceptualized. I suppose its up for interpretation.
So for a lightening bolt, I think it could still count as spell damage.
The real question is, would Rage Potion be considered spell damage?
Ultimately, I think this is Zbladder's decision since it is his card.
