Hrm, this isn't a bad card for  , as it might push it's swarming powers to the point of not being controllable by the enemy. My only concern might be that once again, it places more emphasis on  as a 'support' element, rather than one that can stand on it's own, but eventually, it might get there.

Not sure if it is OP with PU and with immo+phoenix, specially since I can play it and use it before the opponent gets a chance to use PC.

I was thinking of a rapid fungal growth, which Mitosis kind of reminded me of, so I went with that.  That being said, Mycogenesis would mean Fungal Formation or something like that.

As for Support, I see what you mean.  However, this was also to make another Support [Mitosis, since you see it's use more with in my opinion] more aggressive.  Especially in element.

An example I thought about
Ruby Dragon + unstopable + Mycogenesis + 3x PU + Sky Blitz = 224 damage with mommentum using 7 cards. An extra PU would bring it to 288.

Well this would improve my instosis deck for sure. Might be a little too strong in certain circumstances and too situational in others.

Life also doesnt normally have an excess of spare quanta to use

I'd think Mycogenesis would be more like graveyard.  Every time a creature dies generate a fungus.

This gets scary with things like Malignant cell or Phoenix because of the exponential increase. Imagine - kill one phoenix, get two ashes, rebirth for four phoenixes, and if you manage to kill those four, you get eight ashes, which you can rebirth to get 16 phoenixes. This can be done with a life mark and two immolations to get the quanta for Dry spell.
Also, does Fate egg apply? If so, would it generate the same creature, or two random ones?
I don't think this should apply to flying weapon, since Mitosis doesn't either.

Edit: And what about Graboid? And Reverse time on Mummies?
