Well, apparently Moats can also be Enchantments, so let's roll with that. :P

Why would I use this over Wings? (5 turns is already a lot of time to defend - 10 turns should be more than enough to win you a game. I don't need to pay :water either with Wings.)

Its a good idea, I just find that it might be just a weaker version of wings, though it would be indefinite.

hmm true 10 turns is a long time... maybe i can remove airborne from the list?  would give internal consistency with flooding...

possibly, but a flat :water drain might not be enough, especially if i make the above change.

I like the thematics behind this card. For a drain, I suggest that the amount of damage stopped should be taken into account. I would say that for every 5 attack that is absorbed,  :water should be absorbed, or something like this. The moat would "magically refill itself just enough to thwart damage".

Very similar to the :entropy shield. Given the duo requirement and the small limit on affected creatures, it could probably do with a small cost reduction. (after all, dissipation shield only costs 3 :entropy )
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
