and besides, it's clearly stated on the card image now too.  But we all make mistakes.

It's better now. Still powerful, but all the mounts are powerful. Fits well in the theme of Darkness and the rest of the Mounts. Good work on this.

Question: If the permanent has no active ability but a passive one (generating quanta, generating health, generating Skeletons), does it still apply? Yes, right? Then it's fine.

steal on a stick, even a temporary steal i dont like, just seems like it could be very op... like lets say you steal an enemy weapon the put yours over it? bam they lost their weapon, or shield even idk, maybe its fine but for right now im going  to vote OP.

Oh, I didn't think of that, steal the enemy weapon/drop a weapon trick.

We'd just have to ask zanz to somehow prevent that from working, so that even if you did that, the enemy would still get their weapon back, because that is not an intended use for this card.

Or, if that's not a possibility, I could make it copy the item for 1 turn instead of steal it, but then you wouldn't be able to steal shields to get past them, which would be a nice use of this card, but maybe overpowered, since it effectively gets rid of the shield if you use it every turn.

CURATOR COMMENT
- Working Against shields you could remove the defence each turn
- Against boneshield it will steal 1 then make their shield 1
- Both these actions are wierd

- Suggest that the tiger targets a permanent and gains its ability until end of turn.
- Another option might be to just allow one steal and not repeated steals

Very bad idea. Would make this card useless.

Not really, it would still give great card advantage as such, you get a Creature, a Card from the opponent, the opponent loses a card for your investment of 1 card. Thats a 3:1 swing.

After much consideration, I agree and the card has been changed.  Thanks.

Jallen

P.S.  The card may still be overpowered if we consider Eternity/Dusk Tiger combos, but that would cost  3 :time and 11  :darkness to steal something every other turn.

I don't really understand this 3:1 card swing thing.
A bare 3/2 creature simply does not worth 6 quanta. Even if it you can spare a card with it.
Just consider steal: having an opponents card and having the opponent not have this card worths a mere 3 quanta :)
This creature's price is thrice that. Though almost any creature control could kill it. And since you have one round when you cannot use the steal, most creature control decks will surely kill it. That is a waste of 9 quanta for doing 3 damage (if any).

Make it at least 3/4 so it is slightly harder to control.

I think before, it was overpowered, now its underpowered. Either lower the cost or up the attack power because once the steal is used, the card isn't very useful for a fairly hefty cost.

I'd just like to point out that at the moment, the upgraded version is worse than unupped in almost every case. The upped costs 1 more to play and 1 less to use the ability... this means that you can play the unupped version earlier, generally, and once you use the ability with either one, it just cost you 11 quanta total, so the upped version is the same there.

I don't really see how a card with the steal ability can be balanced...either it will cost too much to be useful or will be too powerful in some way... I would suggest something like: while this card is in play, your creatures have a (50% ?) chance to 'evade' spells and abilities that target them. Could be called shadow or something like that.
