In PvP, it looks useless, but when against the AI, it will be one heck of a killer
The effect of the spell or ability will still effect Medusa.  So its a battle decision whether or not the player will choose to leave it alone, allowing for it to be buffed continuously and eventually become a headache, or to take it out and accept the delayed effect.
also a good counter to mass CC

Hmm... this creature is balanced statistically, I can say that.  I don't think the ability is powerful enough to encourage a 1 QC(quanta cost) raise.

Good card, thematically fit and interesting mechanic. One question though: can the ability be lobotomized?
I'd say make it a passive ability that can't be lobotomized. According to legend, Perseus was still able to petrify the Kraken even after he cut off Medusa's head. But, thats just Greek legend though -- not sure how this would fit into Elements lore.

You target it with Adrenaline for a big-bodied frog...
You skip a draw, and your opponent is hesitant to remove it.

This seems like an echo of Iridium Warden, but that's not a bad thing. Plus, Medusa can still attack.

By echo I can assume you mean it has come after Iridium Warden, but to be fair, I made this card before that card was released.

I concur, it should be a passive ability. However, you might consider cutting the attack and putting in an ability to have one creature only target this card and when it uses its ability, apply Basilisk's Blood.

Either that, or when it gets destroyed, possibly deal 20 damage and paralyze the opponent for 2 or 3 turns, one more for upgraded.

Fair enough. I like the idea of having an anti-Thunderstorm/Rain of Fire/Pandemonium card though or any other kind of effect upon being targeted.
