NOTES:
With more Shard ideas than usual in CIA with 1.29, I thought I'd throw in one of my own. This shard reduces the cost of all cards IN YOUR HAND at time of activation, with Gravity cards being reduced by an extra point. Instead of permanently reducing all card costs (as a permanent would), this only reduces a max of seven cards, which I believe should reduce the OP-ness much more. It also lasts for ONLY ONE TURN, so the next turn all cards in your hand return to normal. Also, card costs can't be reduced past two (ie. to 1 or 0). So no 1 :life Fractal Giant Frogs, and SoI'd Sparks still cost 0 rather than -1 (what would that do, give you quanta? hmm).

It's in part an anti-denial card, to help against the quanta lock that results, but still requires 3 or 2 quanta which is risky -- you don't want to play it if it means you can't play the card you want even with the 1 cost reduction. Even so, I could see this being abused in rainbows, so if you want to suggest a higher cost or an alternative cost (HP? no draw next turn?), please do.

Reason for choosing Gravity (not just because it's my favorite element! I swear!):

Remaining shardless elements:
 :air
 :earth
 :fire
 :gravity

Fire was ruled out easily, because of the metagame. Deflag and Immo just got nerfed, imagine the uproar if Fire was given a cost-reducing Shard to make up for it. The rest, I did a little calculation to see which element cost the most overall (discounting Nymphs):

 :air: 56 + 51 = 107
 :earth: 47 + 46 = 93
 :gravity: 61 + 55 = 116

Gravity is overall the most expensive element out of the three. Even discounting the numbers (which I may have miscounted and which doesn't mean anything anyway), most people would agree that Gravity has the biggest struggle with playing its cards due to their (on average) relatively high cost. I figured this would help with Gravity's speed, something it has notoriously lacked.

Finally, alternative names I considered: Industriousness, Optimism, Justice, Generosity, Catharsis

A perfect card to solve gravity's high quanta stuff problems... but the problem is, other elements are going to receive much more benefit. Think of 1 :life cost frogs.... ugh...

And I see how you tried to address the problem with Fractal by only affecting the cards at the point of activation, but the issue still remains. What if you use the card AFTER using fractal on something? In addition, I dislike the fact that nightmare is nerfed by this shard.

Overall, however, I love that it makes Fractal Charger a viable and an extremely powerful deck. An ingenious( :D) idea that could maybe end up in Reliquary?
Ex-Master of :gravity, still a fervid supporter! GO GRAVY!

Thanks for the feedback, GG! Do you think preventing the Shard from reducing below a cost of 2 would be better? That way cards like Frogs couldn't be spammed as easily.

EDIT: Also, to address questions raised in chat:

It only affects cards in your hand AT THE TIME OF ACTIVATION. So, for example, you use SoI (Roflcopter!), then use your Golden Hourglass to draw another card into your hand. That new drawn card would remain at its regular cost, without reduction. Unless you use another SoI afterwards.

Speaking of which, SoIs cannot "stack" effects. You can't spam four at once to get a 6 :death Bone Dragon, for example.

On bucky's suggestion (putting this here before I forget whose idea it was), SoI could cause an effect similar to that caused by Silence and Sanctuary, represented by the graphic. It would make it easier to see that the effect wears off after the turn it was played.
