ART: RootRanger IDEA: RootRanger NOTES: This card has two uses. The first is in mono water. Water happens to be the only element that has a bolt spell but no creature that generates water. Darkness has devoureres for siphon life, and fire has elite fireflies for fire lance. The second use is for a duo with water but a mark of another element. Water has synergistic cards with aether, air, death, earth, fire, and life. With this card you can use the ability if you need quantum for your other element, or not use it if you need water quantum. It makes duos easier. Some of you have said that this card is similar to real life and humans. I partly agree, but cards like the horned frog and virus are more realistic. And last time I checked, a shark in sunglasses is not the same as a human. Well, I hope you like it. SERIES: -

Well it has two main uses. The first is for mono water. While siphon life is powered by devourers and fire lance is powered by elite fireflies, water doesn't have a creature that generates quantum for ice lance. You can also use it in water duos with a mark that isn't water. If it's in a duo and you need quantum of your mark you can use the ability. If you need water quantum you won't use the ability.

I understand how it is very human-like, but nymphs and guardian angels are just as human.

I thought loaning requires the same amount of money plus extra interest to return, so I don't get why you keep on earning.

Yeah, you're right. I'm open to new abilities, but I had a really hard time making the card balanced with some sort of ability that was more like a real loan. The ability would usually end up being useless or OP with multiple sharks. Sacrificing loan shark was more of a fire or death card.

Do you think I should go with something where you gain quantum and sacrifice a pillar? Water has other cards that transform a pillar, so this kind of fits with the theme.

I can see it being OP at 7 attack while it can still produce quanta, but that's just my opinion.

Water mark = Infinite Quantum!

Being able to produce 1 quanta per turn is worth a 0-1 increase in cost greater than the attack+hpvalue.
This card is balanced.

The flavor, well, Loaning has a connection to Loan Sharks which have a slight connection Sharks as Loan Sharks which has a slight connection to Water. It works but fewer steps would be nice.
