Spawn is a good life verb.

I think using the Mitosis mechanic for Spawn is probably wisest (mutants create daughters of the card image as normal for mitosis)

I think the cost is a bit high; the 3 life makes up enough of a continuous payment. I would suggest no more than a -2 cost though

I am confused by the wording, but by the posts i read, it has a certain % chance of having creatures copied for the first 10|15 turns, while absorbing 3 :life?

I still think a percent chance should be involved.

Also the wording might be confused for it copying each attacker 10 times. (which it doesn't do)

test 1 does not fit

What is X? I am not sure. Adjust it to balance. Try 50?
I do not think charges are needed but I may be wrong.

I'd suggest this:

Chance: 5/(C+10), where C is the casting cost. With this, the probability of generating a spawn of the target with a casting cost of ... is:
0, 50%
1, 45%
2, 42%
3, 38%
4, 36%
5, 33%
6, 31%
7, 29%
8, 28%
9, 26%
10, 25%
