I like it the way it is right now, altough OldTrees will surely say something about the cost for the upped, since you added 1 hp to the drain, 1 hp to the creature and reduced in 1 :life the cost... I say the upped costs 6, or the unupped 5

As it is currently I think the casting cost is much too high. Drop it to 4 :life|3 :life minimum please.

Draining a resource and converting it to another resource is Darkness's ability.
Life is good at Growth ( :light-> :life :life)
4 :life>4hp therefore this barely fits Life but does indeed fit Life.

Don't you think dropping the cost would make this card too strong? I mean, this is a skill that it can use every turn at only 1 life quanta. It shouldn't be easy to cast this card, or one could easily have one too many on the field killing off all opponent's creatures.

Nvm. I missed that it targeted. I misread it as absorbed (=from player) the hp instead of drained them from a target. My reading comprehension drops when I try to answer floods if ideas.
6 :life|5 :life is ~balanced.

Finally, managed to give you karma since I'm back from school :) also, this card would make a great addition to life's arsenal, since it's a bit lacking in terms of targeted CC at the moment :)
