Here are my ideas for the upped card:

1 less  :death + same poison to the enemy.

OR

1 more :death + 1 more poison to the enemy.

I compared those cards, here are my thoughts:

1. Poison is cumulative.
2. Poison lasts even after the creature is killed.
3. You can poison a stronger creature, which will be able to penetrate shields. Deathstalkers have Deadly Venom, but most shields are unpenetrable for them.

I'm afraid 2 poison would be a little OP, so I try to preserve balance here. Let's hear other members.

1. Poison is cumulative. Acceleration is also cumulative. 2nd turn's attack boost do not cancel the 1st turn's boost.
2. Poison lasts even after the creature is killed. This is an important point. Poisons are hard to remove.

4. And one more, Acceleration|Overdrive gives +2|+3 ATK each turn while venom gives +1|+1 and deadly venom gives +2|+2.

It's just death's version of liquid shadow. The cost seems fine to me, but if you make it 2 poison instead of one, give it +1 cost.
