I'm not sure if this should be a weapon, though I understand that it would be a buff to make it a normal permanent, even more so if it stacks. It sems well balanced though.

Works with:	How:	Countering:
Quintessence/Turquoise Nymph	As your creatures are immortal, it won't affect them.	If your opponent has any of these cards(Nymph get from egg), then your weapon would only harm you in a matter of turns.
Lava Golem, Forest Spirit	As these grow, the HP goes up, so they'll gain 1 HP per turn but they won't die. Unless you don't have quanta to grow them.	If your opponent plays any of these before you play Lava Staff, then they'll survive no matter what. Unless the opponent doesn't have quanta to grow them.
Fractal Voodoo	The damage dealt to your fractaled voodoos will affect the opponents HP. With nightfall it would be 46 max dmg per turn for 17 turns.	Maximum 23 dmg per turn because of Lava Staff, and even worse with Nightfall.
Stalls/OTKs	No creatures mean no harm to you but it will affect your opponent's creatures.	You'll only harm your creatures because your opponent doesn't have any.
Rushes	You'd kill unburrowed creatures. A strong rush against this weapon is Shrieker Rush.	You'd kill your own creatures unless you have Shrieker Rush with Lava Golems(To make fire also effective ).

Question: Pulsating lava or Lava staff at the title of the topic? The card says Lava Staff

Wops sorry my bad. I changed the name to Lava staff since that sounds more like a weapon, however I forgot to change the title name. Fixed, thank you for noticing.

Mmmm... its a weapon now... if only you could photoshop in a little staff above the guy's head in that picture... and now I have that scene of the sandman raising his staff above his head from Star Wars eps. IV stuck going through my head

About the flying Lava Staff, if it has 0 attack and it is adrenalined, it attack 5 times per turn, dealing 5 damage to everything unless it gets killed in the process. My favorite combo with this weapon would be Lava Staff+Animate Weapon+Basilisk Blood+Epinephrine, which can essentially be powered from Supernovas. Now let's imagine that you have Twin Universes too.

Edit: BB can be replaced with Quintessence, but it makes targetting for TU impossible afterwards.

Throw in some voodoo dolls for extra punch and you probably have vicious player damage output too.
