Yeah, there should be no problem as he gave a blanket pass to the use of his artwork.  I used a piece, and as long as he is credited, he has no problem with it.

yeah a while ago i asked him if i could use some of his art and he responded by saying anyone here can use his art, and as long as we give him credit per forum rules, its kosher.

and why must thing that don't have any ramdom can't be 

that's nonsense.  very nonsense to me.

i'm don't see any kind of randomness in lycantrophe, maxwell or butterfly effect.   and i'm seen some random effect in pest or some shield too.   why don't that all move to another element because of that random or don't random.

Well, it doesn't. It's true, but for this type of effect, random should be better.

Hm, an interesting idea.

Do the copies still have the ability of the original? Also, what happens if you use this on a creature with 1 or 2 HP?

And I would lower the cost a bit, to maybe 8 for the unupped, 9 for the upped.

it will have the same ability.  this skill look like PU, the copy one will have same status as it original  frost, poison, adrenaline, skill or whatever.

and if it have only 2 or 1 hp, it will be instant killed and triger only 1 death effect (scavenger or graveyard) cuz it die before have a new one.   

and about it cost...  i'm don't sure about it  but a creature that have greater skill (like nymph or chimera) have a very high cost but....   if i seen another one say something about cost, i will change it
