I think this card would be too powerful. I could build some awesome Time decks using this.

Turtle Shield and upped Sundial (no cost to play) would stall while you gather ridiculous amounts of quanta. It would be especially powerful early in the game when you don't really have to spend quanta on anything.

I would probably take mark from Aether with a couple of Thunderbolts to add to stalling. Then just a bunch of Time Dragons, Anubis, etc. .. and finally.. Fractal.

GG.
remember you can't cast any cards or you break the deduction.

Build me a deck with rules of play and I'll test it.
Your description doesn't say anything about playing cards. It only talks about using quanta. Upped Sundial costs nothing to play.

And I pretty much explained my deck idea in that previous post.

Cards without cost do not break deduction so sundial is fine if upped.

I wont run a public test without a full deck design because the balance and actions of a deck need to be weighed in full and I don't want to do that based just on a description. If someone else makes the deck for you I'll run it.

i seriously love this card. it's quite powerful, but you have to sit back and take a beating to use it so i don't really think it's OP. i think people thinking up ways where you can actually stall long enough to use it are just showing ways of using it effectively, and not showing how OP it is. i do have one small criticism. i think that the upped version might need a slight cost increase. if it were to be added to the game, the added effect of a card per turn would almost certainly be the biggest jump in power from unupped to upped in the game.

There's also the matter of at drawing 2 cards a turn, even if your hand is completely empty when you get this card that's only 4 turns of extra quantum until you have to start discarding (unless you've got no cost cards, that is).

You think drawing cards is a bad thing?

I think that unless you're playing a deck with a bunch of no-cost cards, the unupgraded version might be better.  If the point is to stockpile a ton of quantum, then having less turns before you have to decide whether you want to discard a card or let this be destroyed is a better thing.  I suppose if you were trying to do fractal Devonian Dragons it wouldn't matter because you could just throw one away.

I really like the card, but perhaps because you are "wasting time" to use it perhaps time quantum production should stop while it is in play?

That way it would be nurfed for time decks, and more useful for duos

try this deck and see how it goes,

5 time towers
5 deductions
5 syphons
5 devourers
7 darkness towers
3 dusk shields
mark doesnt really matter as long as it is darkness or time.

rules are: dont play syphons until you have at least 70 darkness quanta
dont play deduction if there is already one on your field
play devourers in priority to deductions
play towers immediatly
dusk shield is a priority to everything other than towers

i decided to keep it simple since cpus are stupid.
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!
