Please explain why. If the author found it obviously OP they would have changed it before your comment. Therefore what you see is not obvious to the author. Therefore you need to explain why you see it as OP when you make comments like this.

Opponent does not lose,you missed the point. You sacrifice 3 , as an example think opponent has 4 burning towers and 3 phoenixes in his hand,he can play 21 for free,and will gain 4 that turn. So, 3 exchanges to 25 even that is opponent's.
By the way,if he has immolation in hand,he HAS to immolate one creature,right? If he has no creatures in hand or on field,it may cause some bugs. What happens then ? Just gain the quanta and lose the card or what ?

OP means overpowered, and "overpowered" means that using the card gives you a significant advantage over your opponent. The fact that this card allows your opponent to save quanta should not be a factor for it being overpowered because that effect does not give you a significant advantage over your opponent. On the contrary, that effect gives you a significant disadvantage over your opponent.
