My thoughts exactly.  Play this card, then 4 fire lances.  Next turn, 7 more lances?  That's 12+21 damage minimum.  But if :fire >20, you could do 36+63.  Whoa!  OP.

Not just bolts but imagine grabbing a bunch of unstoppables (momentums) for those dragons you just played, yikes.

Am I misreading this?  If you play 4 lances, that means you would get 4 additional lances... not 7.  It would potentially (perfect drawing scenario) allow you to play 6 fire lances and then 6 more the next turn though.  The fact that you can have RoL to generate enough  :light for this card and then use cremation to convert them to  :fire for your lances is just mean.  Works with drain life to a lesser extent, and ice bolt a bit less than that even. 

Also, just thought about using this with heal.  Lots of HP gain there.  Good for mass creature control (rewind or congeal... or double up on the number of times you can congeal/shockwave a big enemy).  Or it could guarantee two turns of survival if you use a Miracle and have a lot of  :light towers/RoL out.  Lots of potential, but I think the fire bolt scenario is the only one that could really make it OP.

The RoL -> Immanance -> Cremation -> Lance combo is a bit brutal.   I'll futz around with it and see if I can come up with a decent fix.  :)

what if the cards just stayed on your deck? itd give you some control for what you would draw with having some power yet not too overpowered

then you could lower cost to 6/5

I really like this card.  I don't think it's really all that overpowered either...

Meh.  I foresee problems with this and cremation, but those issues aren't ones I can see an easy fix for.

Fixed: zero-cost spells are not duplicated with Transcendence.  Also prevents Nova and Holy Flash abuse!  8)

Please extend my sincerest apologies to your wife for me.  It's a very nice design.  I honestly meant no offense.  Sometimes I just type the first thing that pops into my head (and in this case, I was concerned it might pop into other people's too.)

What happens if you cast multiple Transcendence?

Can I cast 3 to have infinite Supernova and Bolts?
What happens when my deck gets larger than the size of the Deck Array?

Well, you can't ever get more than 16 cards on top of your deck (if you cast 4 Transcendence and 4 spells all in once turn), and your chance of being able to get enough quanta and then refill your hand in time to do that before you've drawn at least 16 cards is pretty much nil, so I'm not really worried about it.

The only card that I'd be worried about overduplicating via Transcendence is Shard of Divinity --- I gotta admit, casting 4 SoDs and stacking your deck with 16 more sounds pretty brutal -- until you realize that you then have to go for 8 turns without drawing anything but SoD, and your opponent can probably catch up with your HP gain by then.

what can i say? i love this card, i love the name, i love the art, but there is a problem in how this will affect damaging spells, SoDs and especially bolt spells. I say, come up with an original way to balance this card (or just increase cost)

Plagues and RoFs and Black Holes, Oh My!
Dark matter really gets a buff because he already uses light and a ridiculous amount of black holes.

Not sure I understand how the card works but Im thinking of a mono light with 6 blessings, 6 transcendence, 6 of that one horse thingy that ca double its attack, 12 light towers and mark of air :) Of course balancing would be required but I bet you can see the idea ;)

i love this card just one concern supernova cost 2 :entropy but they also generate 2 :entropy so does that count as a cost spell or no if yes might be op in a supernova rush
