1 -> 2 damage reduction is a pretty big deal.

2 -> 3 fire reduction stops minor phoenix, lava golem, and fire lance completely.

freeze -> congeal means an extra turn of freezing.

Maybe I do need 7 cost, lol.

nice but a little OP question does it divert fire lances attack from the total e.g. fire lance does 12 damage would the uped version repel all damage or lower it to 9?

Needs to have less effects. Seems a little complicated like guolin said. Also, too many effects may eventually lead to OP.

Seeing as Fire Lance does 3 damage at a time, I would imagine it to repel all damage, unless it's specificly coded to do otherwise.
Still not such a big problem, since there's already the reflective shields blocking (and reflecting as well) Fire Lance.

This card shouldn't be too focussed against a single element though, at least IMO (no card should)

Seeing as Fire Lance does 3 damage at a time, I would imagine it to repel all damage, unless it's specificly coded to do otherwise.

Yeah that's how I see fire lance work as well.

I like the idea of cards strong against other elements, especially the elements opposite.

This could be something like a rare shield, maybe something that you can only get by Ai level 5. If the rare shields were possesed by the Half-Bloods, then there would be a greater reason to farm them. Also, WOOT 200th post.

I like that idea actually. Rare shield ftw. Putting it only in AI5 would be an interesting idea, but not sure how it would work.  AI5 would have to be reworked from current for this to be effective. Would be a great way to draw people to AI5 though.

Not a bad idea. Kinda like a choice for ice/water shields.
