I think you need to fix the image link - currently it takes you to an image that doesn't look like this one.

An interesting Gravity-Shieldish card for Aether, would create some interesting defensive stalls with Anubis. It also helps to prevent rainbows from using Quints so you can CC them while they try to get around this shield. I'd think people might use immortals even less because of this though.

Yes, it's Aether vs Aether.  This is from the pattern of Fire's weak HP vs Fire Shield and Gravity's heavy HP vs Weight.  Sometimes the best counter is in the same element.

This shield would do well to counter immortalized heavy hitters -- particularly dragons and growers (blasted irritating #@% @#@#% immortal spirits and lava destroyers).  While yes, Fire Shield/Buckler can be used against them, they shouldn't be the only real option.  imho of course ;-)

A good point. Don' forget :life's thorny shield, though.

I should note that against utility units, this has little effect.  Oty's would still eat; Nymphs would still... nymph; immortal spammers would still produce silly numbers of bugs.

I think this (well, hope) this would give Turquoise nymph more use. Although in a stall this could become a complete game winner ( :aether nymph or anubis stall), but then again, so can Hope.
