I mean, the card strategy being 1|0 is the same, but nerfed in order to prevent being OP... The ignite thingy isn't OP, now that I see it, it's just that I don't like UG

Fractal isn't a problem at all; it's even worse than fractal ball lightning. You have to play the burst and buff it in the same turn, or it dies. So either you don't get enough bursts out because you're keeping card slots for buff cards, or you don't have any way to keep the bursts alive. TU is actually a problem, but its cost would make it a not-OP combo, not to mention requiring three cards.

If you lower its attack, it still becomes a mostly useless card. I think the best solution is to increase the ignite cost to 2 or 3 . That way it can't really be spammed.

The stat is fine I think since it will either only attack for 1 turn or die after ignite, so the stat is fine. I agree with what Krahhl said, that way it will be relatively balanced.

P.S. On a second thought, does this get through reflective shields? That would make it superior to UG, wouldn't say it's OP though since it would be vulnerable to the inumerous CC that UG is not vulnerable towards.

Yes, it is affected by reflective shields.
What if I lowered the cost to 1 , and made the ignite cost like  ? That would give it a slightly different perspective in that it can be used for cremate fodder and as an alternate burst in damage if you add some buff cards to your fire rush.

I like that; it shouldn't be OP because you still have to do a two card and at least duo combination. I don't think it would be really faster than just putting out other creatures.

Maybe I am over exaggerating the OP, but this is Fire we be talking about. Sure someone will come up with an epic stomp with this card.

6 of these, 3 momentum, 3 blessing, 3 plate armor, 3 chaos power, 6 quantum tower, 6 supernova?

6 of these, 6 precog, 4 spark, 4 cremation, 2 chaos power, 2 momentum, 1 blessing, 1 heavy armor, 4 nova.

There would probably be a better deck, but that's what came off the top of my head with bursts as the only creatures.

As much as I enjoy the concept, the 'Ignite' effect feels a bit intense to include in Fire (I mean, come on - how much damage does Fire need anyway?). Not only do you introduce a potential '20+ damage' card if you have a buffing spell in your deck if it's a fire-duo of some sort, but you also provide another form of 'semi' cheap CC with that Ignite ability, which is annoying enough as is with all the Rage Potions, Rain of Fires, Fire Bolts, and Fire Shields in game.



...but it's still a fun idea, I suppose.

i like the card, but since it has only  defense, it dies on the turn it comes out, and you dont get the chance to use its effect...

thats the idea... You have to buff it in order to use its effect...
