I thought this would be an interesting concept to try to recreate, and I found this picture on photobucket that just happened to look a lot like Druid's Staff.  That's when this card began to form in my mind.  When it's ability is used, it deals 3/6 damage to the opponent and then skips healing you. . . . But if you don't use 2 quanta, it doesn' hurt the opponent? Then it's not a weapon.

It's a weapon in the sense it takes up your weapon slot. Keep in mind this is the  counterpart to Druid's Staff, and it should thus be weaker but cheaper.

I would prefer  not gain any more healing.

However I would have it heal 6|12 and have an activated ability 0:deal 3|6 damage instead of healing

I like the concept.
I hate colorless healing but this would be ok. It would be a great card for newbies, and I see no way this could be abused or unfair, just like all the other colorless weapons. I think one thing newbie's lack when they start the game is healing cards, so a colorless healing weapon would be very good.

This would be the colorless version of that card, Grind. If you read the entire thread, you would know that.

If I gave it 6 | 12 healing it would probably be too strong for an Other counterpart.  However the cost of 0 for damage makes sense.

-Remove the ' ' icon from the COST section of the tables (it should match the card image, and since there's no icon after the cost on the card...)



My only beef with this card is that 'Generic' weapons should be VERY generic - I'd personally remove the 'Healing' part at least from the non-upped version, so it's just named 'Staff'. This way, it at least resembles a basic weapon (at least in terms of the name). ^^;

Meh.... sorry Kuraitou but my gut's telling me "Healing Staff" sounds cooler and more thematic, no offense meant.
