This is a nice card that could come in handy against CC and also be the center of a strategy, such as fractal Sparks.
This card benefits Earth creatures such as Shriekers that have low HP, and it allows them to survive longer on the field. It also helps cards like Lava Golem that use Earth quanta. However, mentioned previously in the thread is the potential for a combo with this card and fractal Spark/Ball Lightning. For ten Aether quanta and three Earth quanta, you could have 6+ three attack creatures on your field continuously doing damage. However, is this the most efficient strategy? If you had nine sparks (the maximum you could get with fractal) their attack would total to 27 damage. Compare it to three Graboids, which cost nine Earth quanta and three time quanta to evolve (dangerously close to the above cost of fractal Sparks), and deal 24 damage. Graboids are more efficient, as Sparks die easier, Graboids are more versatile, and the fractal combo requires more cards to set up.
However, let’s look at the upped version. Nine Aether quanta plus four Earth quanta for a maximum of nine five attack Ball Lightnings. That’s 45 damage. Three Elite Graboids will only deal 30 damage when evolved.
So, unupgraded, the fractal Spark combo is not the best. But upgraded? Fractal Ball Lightning with Bunker could be a new, deadly strategy that people would have to watch out for in the future.
