On February 2, Groundhog Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groundhog_Day), the groundhog supposedly comes out of its burrow. If it is sunny () then it sees its shadow, retreats back into its burrow, and there will be six more weeks of winter (). Groundhog's attack doubles when it unburrows. If it successfully unburrows, it loses its skill. This makes it useful as a powerful attacker with a 1-turn delay. The Groundhog Day aspect does two things: it hinders its usage as an attacker in rainbows; and provides a powerful means of generating lots of quanta quickly. SERIES:

I'm annoyed about the attack modifications not being in the card text, though.

In mono earth, doesn't this overshadow Antlion?

I guess it does. However, Antlion is commonly agreed to be underpowered anyway. Card ideas should not be balanced around underpowered cards.

Cuddliness aside, I feel the reburrowing aspect combined with  generation might be a bit overpowered. Just one  allows it to become virtually immaterial, right? The only things it can be countered by are damage-dealing shields.

But in any way, I respect the artwork.

Like Graboid it starts Burrowed (~immaterial). There is no need for  .
If you have any  then it will never successfully unburrow.

These trio-cards are always tricky because they run the risk of not being useful... I like the idea, but how about:

That doesn't make sense. The idea is that if it is sunny (you have ), the Groundhog sees its shadow, reburrows, and there will be six more weeks of winter (). Plus, giving Unburrow a cost is inconsistent and unnecessarily weakens the cheap attacker aspect of it.

I know it doesn't make sense thematically, but I don't see the card being used otherwise, except maybe in waterbows.
