Why gravity?
I do not think that the +1 turn is worth +3 :gravity for the upgrade. (+4 after cost reduction for being upgraded)
Effect looks balanced.

the only thing that confused me was that it a permanent that does 2 damage, is it a weapon, or does it deal 2 damage upon playing the card

I KNOW the curator will say this because he/she's said it to me make sure the tables match the cards Hint:(on the unupgraded one ad only before one or change the card
