For artwork, if you want, I can redo the artwork from this:

To have a spooky theme (e.g. black / purple / blood red hand reaching down at you out of the darkness)

I think EmeraldTiger also did some art for a card called Death Touch (or something similar) ... that might be another option.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

I'd increase the chance of killing the target, sounds UP to me.

Since I didn't have a firm idea at the beginning, I accepted the first workable idea that came along.  I had considered using the Skull Shield formula, anyway, so it wasn't a stretch to go with that.

How much of an increase were you thinking?

I think the chance is fine as it is, as it already triggers an in-element death effect AND delays out-element [Assuming Delay belonging to :earth :time].  The actual chance for death is just icing on the cake.

I was thinking about 75% / HP (50% more than skull shield), but maybe Drake is right and that's fine, since there is a lot of creatures in the 1-3 HP range.

If you want.

If not, let me know so I can put them up for grabs in the art section.

Odin, do you think you can make the image of the hand... without the hand?  I might have an idea with those spirals.

No prob... Gimee a sec and I'll post back when done.

Here you go:

Enjoy!
All I ask is:
1) A note / mention under the art section
2) If you end up not needing it later, post it up for others to use.

I like this card especially for the stunning and the small chance to kill. But cards in this game tend to be simple and usually have no more than 2 functions in one card. This card has 3 functions which I think will be too many for one card. IMO, I would recommend losing the death-triggering effect and lower the cost.

I think the idea with the death effect part is to ensure that you get at least one death effect regardless of whether the instant kill works or not.

I believe the goal was to give a way to power all those death cards that need :death effects, but also stay useful in other situations as well.

So the death effect part is just a supplement to the kill chance...

You are right though, it would be cool if it could be condensed a bit to make it more elegant... I'm not sure how to do that though

Edit:  Actually, the card has only two effects.  It triggers death effects, and it does something to creature.  The "something" has two options, but that's not the same thing as two functions.  Mutation is a perfect example: It has one function with three options, not three functions.

At the same time, I see your point about the text being a little complex.  How about this?

Triggers death effects.
Target creature either is stunned for 2 turns or dies.
