Does it round up or down?

My gut says that  :light/3 is still very abusable. However if that turns out to be the case then increasing the divisor would be sufficient.

However simple is the catchword of Elements. This is 3 different cards folded into one. Photosynthesis,  :light/3| :life/3, and Seed rebirth.

I would remove the Photosynethesis and Seed rebirth and focus on the  :light/3| :life/3 mechanic.

the photosynthesis adds a sort of healing effect and allows for a more resilient creature creature with photosynthesis then rustler so im not sure about getting rid of it, seed i will delete i suppose.

for now ill add the decision of getting rid of photosynthesis to the poll.

perhaps an ability to convert one hp to one attack? i will add that as well

That makes 3 of us then. Very complex, thus breaking the Elements Golden Rule of Card Design : Keep it simple.

Take out the rebirth mechanic at least, that doesn't  fit thematically (trees don't become seeds when cut down/burned do they?).

If you want to improve a seed generating tree first take a look at the Grand Tree idea found in the crucible archive.

i actually agree that getting rid of the rebirth was a good idea.

While attack can't be doubled through photosynthesis, light is still one of the easiest elements to generate massive amounts of quanta for.  Despite this, it seems underpowered.  You need to have both light and life to start it up, so the photosynthesis is of little use.  It could be useful in a heavy stall, except that light's best stall card drains all light quanta.

this card is obviously for a life light deck anyway, also sundial is a good stall card which light can use and life can stall with healing

also why do you say light is the easiest element to generate mass quanta? i mean although Rols can help you generate loads of quanta life has photosynthesis which can generate huge amounts of life, and fire is almost completely dedicated to mass quanta

Death is the Element that can generate the most quanta in a short period of time due to Soul Catchers

Light is 2nd only to Death over the long term due to Ray of Light + Fractal, Luciferin + Vanilla creatures and Unupped FFQ

Fire is the Element with the fastest early short term quanta generation and is third in long term generation due to Immolation and Elite FFQ respectively.

Life is the 4th fastest Element over the long term because it relies on Rustler which slows Light's quanta generation down.

Air and Earth are tied for 5th fastest Element but only when Damselfly/Gnome Gemfinder, which outstrips Devourer by 1 casting cost, is used which it rarely is due to being underrated.

Darkness comes in 7th with its Devourer.

After that  :aether :entropy :gravity :time and  :water are at roughly the same speed despite access to extra draws in Aether and Time.

i agree with everyone else, the seed idea is a bit much, since you´ll basically always have the tree  on the field, but everything else is great, since it would take awhile to generate light through rustler and depending whether its a mono-or duo deck, you´ll constantly be spending :life for rushing :life creatures (Giant Frog, etc) but technically this would´nt work much in a rainbow deck, so i really like this idea since it encourages more mono-duo deck use.  :D,
also did you use the elements card creator? only asking cause the image seems to be of low quality, you should use Pixlr and save it as a PNG, which would keep 90% of the image quality. here´s the link to Pixlr and the card template http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,2632.0.html, if you don´t know how to use it just ask me and i´ll explain it to you. (also you need to save/copy a mark the reply buttons and then import it into the program).
