Is refractive plating active or passive? Why is refractive plating essentially free? (6atk+4hp+skill=6 cost?)

i figured the effect was limited to itself, and can only be triggered at the opponent's discretion, and at times may be null, so i figured it was at a value between 0 and 1, closer to 0 than 1.

I think the cost should be a bit higher. Maybe 7 :water? This is basically a pseudo-immaterial card. Like the idea but I feel it should cost more. Discarding a card sounds pretty OP to me.

its usually an effort in futility to think about the combinations of cards which are not implemented into the game, but yes, this would be a great card to pair with ghost of the depths if they were both in the game

and sorry furb, forgot to mention its active, it can be lobod, but the effect would be triggered prior to it being removed.
