NOTES:
Immo for water. Kind of. Ok, lame immo. But, it's still about as good as nova, when upped. I might have been a bit on the UP side. In fact, I believe 3 :water and 3 mark for free unupped could work, if not for water mark. It would grant 6 :water for free in a mono (which is actually nice, IMO).

For now, it stays like this. I might change it up in the future, lowering cost to 0 and increasing the production of the upped by 1.

EDIT: after some thought and feedback in chat, there are two possible solutions (up in the poll).
It is possible to compare this to Supernova for balance. It has the same type of cost, grants less quanta, but can be used to focus quanta into fueling a water rush. It's also pretty versatile and will probably enable some nice decks, or at least so I feel.

Mono-boost AND synergy boost. Nicely done. Water is effectively the best synergy element, but now you're boosting its mono capabilities too!

This card would literally single-handedly rescue mono-Water.  first-turn Toadfish?  Sign me up!  The only potential problem I see is the possibility of an absolutely EVIL speed Poison deck, upped with only Gift of Oceanus and Mark of Death as quanta generation.  But I honestly don't think that that concern is worth it -- it still wouldn't dominate any more than Fire Stall or Fractal Chargers.

Water needs this card like Gravity needed Acceleration.  Worse, actually.  I'm ALL for it!
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Well, this is a lot more positive feedback than I was expecting, thanks! :D
I'm happy this idea gets so much love (and from the ex-Master of Water too).

Due to preliminary feedback (thanks Svenningen) I changed it to 2 :water | 1 :water costs. Reasoning is confrontation between monowater rush and immorush / SN rush.

The alternative that was proposed is to have it cost 2 :water | 2 :underworld. What do you say?

Boring card, but alas the meta-game truly needs it.

And about the upped cost:

I don't think this card is boring, it has lots of potential and quality acceleration provides (or should provide) many new viable strategies.  It's like saying Nova is a boring card before you've used it.  If you want to see a boring card, take a look at SoG.

Although, Essence is probably easily amused.

The thing is, the idea itself is barely revolutionary. Bringing meta-game concerns into the Armory doesn't actually inspire Zanzarino to make new cards...
