Don't use pillars, they'll mess up the mulligan.

OOPS! Anyways, a great card. I prefer to have it more cryogenics type.

I'm not a good deck builder but here is an unupped deck. Improve it to your standards and you have your testing decks.

light pillars are mirrors

Specific Strategy (you can improve this too)

Use squids to lock opponent's offense down.
Try to keep 1 squid in hand until you can quint it.

Once you draw the mirror, setup a situation where as much quanta value can be captured on the turn the mirror is activated.

Their top 2 unfrozen creatures can be frozen with the quinted squid so you just have to wait until they have 3 more frozen and then play the mirror. Remember to accelerate your quanta expenditure so that you have less than 3 water quanta when the mirror is on its 2nd absorb.
the flayers aren't needed because you're basically freezing everything, so this is the deck i used. Floodings are mirrors.

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i9 5i9 5i9 5i9 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ih 5ih 5ih 5ih 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 621 621 621
first test:
got a quinted squid and ice shield out on the 5th turn. water stall isn't even this slow, so i dont think my deck really works..

Also, I realized early on that water pillars can't be used. If you have 3 out, then it's impossible to not have enough quanta for mirror to drain since you played water pillars before your mirror. Also, why use ice shield when you can just freeze everything with octos and congeals?

...we need a new deck to test.

I attempted this deck
Code: [Select]
7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7go 7go 7go 7go 7go 7go 7gr 7gr 7gr 7gr 7gr 7gr 7h1 7h1 7h1 7h1
I planned on keeping the mirror active after using it, and of only powering it with my mark.
So I would use it every 4 turns, which is perfect because it would take at least 4 turns for the copied creatures to unfreeze.
It was pretty hard to stall until the parasite-virus-vulture elder got a high damage vulture because I had no clue what I was doing, but I don't really see the benefits of this card yet.

Still searching for a water stall deck..

In swarming decks (fractal, skeletons, and the like) I have often faced a full field of creatures, armed with a permafrost shield, and seen upwards of 20 frozen at once.  Regardless, there is no limit on the number of times this permanent can be used - if your opponent has, say, three creatures and two of them get frozen, you can copy both those creatures for 3 :aether on each of the next three turns, resulting in 6 new creatures for your side.

Interesting synergy with cards already ingame - Empathic Bond/Forest Spirit/Mind Flayer trio comes to mind.

Actually, if there are 2 creatures frozen on the opponents side and you use it once per turn for 3 turns, then you both will have 8 creatures about to become unfrozen at the end of the third turn. (creature spam sounds fun..what about freeze a dragon and use flood so all the dragons that spawn on their side die?)

Turn 1:
0 creatures on your side.
2 frozen creatures on opponent's side.
Mirror: +2 creatures on your side

Turn 2:
2 frozen creatures on your side.
2 frozen creatures on opponent's side:
Mirror: +2 creatures on both sides

Turn 3:
4 frozen creatures on your side.
4 frozen creatures on opponent's side:
Mirror: +4 creatures on both sides

Interesting synergy with cards already ingame - Empathic Bond/Forest Spirit/Mind Flayer trio comes to mind.
so..um..vote plz? :P
