Combine all of the Crystal Worms in your hand to form a Giant Crystal Worm

IDEA:
moomoose
NOTES:
Figured it would be nice if earth had it's own expansion of the earth shard, obviously not as powerful or flexible as the shard itself.  Keep in mind Rock Worms and Crystal Worms are not eligible for fractal or mitosis, as they turn into Giant Worms when put into play, Giant Worms are, however.  A fractaled or mitosised Giant Rock Worm will cost 4 :earth and have 3|4 stats, a fractaled/mitosised Crystal Rock Worm will cost 4 :earth and have 4|5 stats, not worth it.

Each basic worm adds 3|4 to the Giant Rock Worm
Each upped worm adds 4|5 to the Giant Crystal Worm

It's OK to mix basic and upped worms, they will form whichever is the the predominant worm in the mixture.

While it would maximize the cost/atk ratio to hold back on playing the worms until all 6 are in your hand, it would be slower and deal less damage per turn if you were to play however many you can get in the first few turns and then wait for 2-3 to be in your hand before playing the next one.

Giant Worms have the burrow ability.

Only usable with fractal, otherwise you need very lucky draws.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

hum... worms. just had a crazy idea

how about they had an ability called "dig", wich would let you choose 1 permanent slot from your opponent, except weapon and shield, and it would prevent its use? or in case of stacks of pillars, they wouldnt produce quanta? would last one turn, means you need to reactivate it every turn. This is just me thinking on random stuff i know it has nothing to do with the current card you are showing

Ah, ok. But then you'll need to have different kinds of worms for this to work... otherwise it will be a bit impractical.

that's why the stats are the way they are, 2 cards in hand produces a 6 (basic) or 8 (upped) attack creature for 4 :earth.  which is still a good ratio.  i imagine this being a creature to pair with grabloids in an :earth :time deck where you can use :time to accelerate draws and get these into your hand quicker.  even without draw acceleration, waiting to have 2-3 of these in your hand when you play them will be a solid balanced creature.  having a bunch of worm types would make them easier to play, and the stats would need to drop to a similar level as the shard golems, which are easier to play.

Interesting, but thematically, how does multiple worms combine into a larger one?
