This is a life saver when one of your most important creatures is going against a Fire Shield (or Carapace Buckler!), or if you have a creature that can be susceptible to special attacks (see Paradox), and of course, perfect against hard hitters. I'm still trying to figure out where you got that graphic from though Essence...

A fun card idea, but I'm still worried that  :gravity may not gain as much benefit from this...

Oh, it's definitely not really going to see a lot of use in mono- :gravity except maybe on Grey Nymphs.  But it'd be great for several types of dual- or rainbow deck.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I don't think it should be gravity.

Main reason being, that Gravity has Gravity Shield for blocking attacks (that come from creatures with more than 5 Hitpoints).

I forget who, but I think if you call this skill Pacifism and make it a :light spell - it will be a lot better.

Although, I do like the concept of being able to defend your creatures against a shield effect... Gravity already has Momentum to do this, and the creatures get an attack bonus...

In my opinion, change the cost to 4 :gravity unupped, 3 :gravity upped, because this is too OP for a 2 :gravity cost. Antimatter (upped) is basically this with 2x the amount of quanta needed, so why is the upped version 3x less the cost of antimatter?

I think this is a very good idea essence, it just needs some balancing. Perhaps put a poll up?

I like this one! It's useful in many ways, maybe it fits even in anti-fg deck. Shut down one heavy hitter or if you don't have good creature for the BE you can use this. Like every new good card, this open new possibilities.

example: Everyone love phoenix/minor phoenix card? Cremation -> Minor Phoenix -> Elixir -> Ash - you gain +9 fire quantum and that Ash hit harder than original living creature. My friend told me that one, sometimes I use it. There is much very situational things in the game and sometimes those are game winners.

When I played with SG's anti-fg deck at the moment and new cards pop up, I added Minor Phoenix for 3 different purpose: I can eat it many times, FG try to kill it over and over again and finally I BE'd it.

BUT if you face Eternal Phoenix you may think this one: why there is that annoying creature spam and I always (?) lose that battle. Planning FG's with new arsenal is one thing and card's another.

I like it too, but I'm going to restate what I said before.

I think it should be called Pacifism and cost 1 :light.

You (Essence) state that it can be used to 'protect one of your creatures from shield effects' - Gravity should use Momentum for this, since the creature not only gets to keep it's attack, but it's attack and defence are increased.

Maybe you could further the idea too, so that it
a) Lobotomizes the target creature aswell? Maybe OP, make it cost more :light? Or maybe only Lobo if target is an enemy.
b) The attack power of the creature is multiplied by two, and then added to your health (as a primitive heal), then it is set to 0

My reason for a) is: Antimatter is a lot better than this card to control enemy creatures (as in, to keep them on the board but make them beneficial to yourself).
My reasoning for b) is, same as a), why not give it a little something more? :)

True, but Momentum can't be used as control the way that this can.  The flexibility is one of the key strengths of the card. :)

Holy ancient Table!

To Get to the Crucible back then is different to the requirements now, you will need to:
- Use the Current Table
- And link to the art source.

I may have missed it, but didn't see anyone mention the utility it has when facing Antimatter as well.  Opponent antimatter your creature?  Hit it with this, no more healing for them!

You lose a creature+this card, but they find a VERY valuable card wasted.

Yeah.. do feel it should be 4  :gravity  for cost.

If there are more things that could help cleanse negative effect from a creature in the game... than it would balance out better.
